Wood Collections

Recycling lumber & reducing landfill are the first steps in the cycle of renewal supported by New Life Wood.  We provide a service to building and construction companies and indeed any business with surplus timber.  At rates cheaper than skip hire, our caged truck can be ordered to site where our driver and loader will load up and take away timber that would otherwise be scrapped to landfill. On return, the wood is sorted with usable timber moved to the wood store & any unusable scrap is assigned to be recycled as woodchip.  Timber in the store is available for retail sale to the general public and businesses or for use in the workshops.

NLW is a member of the national ‘Community Wood Recycling’ network.  This supports NLW and other timber recycling organisations to develop additional waste wood sources for us as well as supporting awareness of our work.   However, we also seek direct contacts with local sites having surplus timber available for collection.
